Busellato Shapes Wind Turbine Blades!

Engineering students at Madison Area Technical College, seeking to build a proto-type wind turbine, turned to the Cabinetmaking & Millwork Department to machine the 5’
long wooden blades. Mike Lesch, Applications Engineer for Delmac Machinery, provided initial advice using AlphaCAM to demonstrate how both sides of the blade could be programmed and secured using vacuum jigs. The blades were machined on our Busellato Jet 100 Machining Center.
