WOODLINKS/NCSU Summer Program Visits DMG

WoodLinks/NCSU summer program joined DMG at our Greensboro facility during our Open House for a tour of our machinery showroom, training facility, as well as a local customer's manufacturing facility. "We showed the next generation of woodworkers our high technology equipment and discuss some of the different job opportunities available to them. Our industry has needed a program like WoodLinks for a long time. Having qualified employees can only be beneficial to the industry as a whole and will give us the ability to be competitive. These students were enthusiastic about woodworking and we want to do our part to help them stay that way.", said John Park, DMG's General Manager. DMG's software trainer, Mark Bradley, has visited local high schools involved in the WoodLinks program and joined the students on a tour of a local customer's facility. "We appreciated their inquisitive nature. The intelligent questions they asked let us know that these students already have a good knowledge of woodworking industry, as well as the different machines and manufacturing processes that were demonstrated. I look forward to working with them", said Mark Bradley, DMG's Software Trainer.
