The IDM IDI-5500PM NC is a full NC set-up machine. Leave the cabinet doors closed and run thin PVC, veneer, HPL, solid wood (to ½”), and 3mm PVC on 4 sides with corner rounding. Pre-Milling permits the removal of up to 3mm of material to provide a chip free edge with minimal glue line. It also provides quick and easy rework of previously applied banding. The working units allow rapid setup between first and second pass and make changing from thin tape to thick tape quick and easy. This little workhorse is designed for shops with limited floor space, yet requiring high quality output.
