Omal Bore and Dowel Machine

HBD 1300 Horizontal Bore, Glue & Dowel Machine with a 4' work table.

With a cycle time of approximately ONE second for each bore, glue and dowel insertion when holes are on 32mm intervals!

The HBD 1300 Horizontal Bore, Glue, and Dowel machine is a numerically controlled machine to drill, glue and insert dowels on horizontal pieces with FOUR loading zones.

The machine is equipped standard with a single drill and piggyback glue and dowel insertion unit with standard set up for 8mm dowels. The selection of the loading zone (left, left center, right center, or right) is executed by CNC. The center reference is manually removeable for large panels. The vertical clamps hold panels for horizontal edge drilling and doweling.

In addition, the OMAL "Sure Shot" revolver system guarantees a dowel is inserted every time, eliminating misfeeds!

The high pressure glue injection system insures a no-drip glue or water delivery system with electronic precision metering of the glue amount.

Software:
The machines are equipped with a PC interface used for writing and storing programs and have user friendly software (similar to Genesis Evolution used by Busellato JET CNC machines) that makes them extremely versatile.

The machine can be equipped with a scanner for bar code control of the cycle. Software is complete with list management, synoptic interface and help diagnostics.
